• 1976 — graduated from the Electro-physics Faculty of the Chisinau-based Polytechnic Institute;

• 1987–1988 — literary secretary of the Folk Theatre Ion Creanga;
• 1988–1989 — director of the Studio Theatre from Province;
• 1990–1991 — director of the Eugen Ionesco Theatre;
• 1991–1992 — literary secretary of the National Theatre Mihai Eminescu;
• 1996–1997 — director-general of the Plastic Fund of the Union of Plastic Artists;
• 1999–2005 — director of cultural programmes for youth of the Rasaritul Romanesc Association;
• From 2005 to present — chairman of the Chisinau municipal branch of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (CDPP);
• July 2004 — February 2007 — municipal councillor, deputy chairman of the commission for law, public order and activity of LPA, chairman of the CDPP faction in the Chisinau Municipal Council;
• From February 2007 to present — deputy mayor of Chisinau.
