Born on May 6, 1969 in the village of Lapusna, the district of Hincesti

Education

  • 1989–1990 — student at the Cooperative College of Moldova;
  • 1990–1994 — student at the Faculty of Law of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University based in Iasi, Romania.

Professional and political experience

  • 1994–1998 — builds and leads businesses in Romania;
  • 1998–1999 — director of the Department for Privatisation and Administration of State Property of Moldova;
  • March-November 1999 — Minister of State in the Government of Moldova;
  • From 2000 — deputy chairman of PDM;
  • March 2005 — becomes parliamentarian on behalf of PDM.

Civil status: married, 2 children.
