- Has graduated from the Sankt-Petersburg Naval High School (with the specialization engineer in electronics).
Professional experience:
- 1970–1971 — machine operator at “Vibroaparat” Factory;
- 1971–1992 — military, “A.S. Popov” Superior Naval Military College, Sankt-Petersburg, Arm Forces of the USSR;
- 1990–1998 — MP from the side of “Sotsedinstvo (Соцединство)” Electoral Bloc;
- 1992–1995 — MP, member of the permanent committees, Parliament of the RM;
- 1995–1996 — member of the Permanent Bureau of the Parliament;
- 1996–1998 — MP, member of a permanent committee, Parliament of the RM;
- 1998–2007 — executive secretary, PSM “Patria-Rodina”.
Civil status: Married.
