• Chisinau electoral district council (CEDC) has registered other three candidates to the Chisinau general mayor office:
  • Ludmila Bolbocean, European Party;
  • Svetlana Mislitchi, Republican Popular Party;
  • Vasile Ceban, independent candidate.

  The Party of Law and Justice has nominated Valentina Tapis, chief of the Chisinau Ecologic Agency, as candidate to the Chisinau mayor office.

• Chisinau Municipal counselor Oleg Cernei has revealed at the Municipal Council sitting, on May 3, that many public servants, employed by different municipal administrative institutions, and competing for Chisinau Municipality elective seats, are misusing in different ways administrative resources. Cernei has invoked that 11 public servants are competing for these seats on the list of PCRM and 5 — on the list of CDPP, using thus premises, phone lines, office cars and other administrative resources. In this context, Cernei has asked all these servants to self-suspend from their offices while campaigning, as they, being involved into the election campaign, do not cope entirely with their current administrative duties.
