• Veaceslav Iordan, candidate to the Chisinau mayor office from the side of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM), has brought to the court the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) decision that had admitted an appeal of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (CDPP) on organization of an electoral meeting on June 1, in the National Assembly Great Square (NAGS).

  Earlier, on March 23, CDPP has asked the Chisinau Mayoralty authorization to organize an electoral event on June 1, in NAGS. The local authorities had not accepted to give the NAGS to CDPP for the entire day, as another similar demand came from the PCRM candidate Veaceslav Iordan who intends to organize on June 1 a concert with Sofia Rotaru singer. Later, the CEC has decided that CDPP needs to be granted with this right, as it was the first to forward the demand (after Infotag).
