“IMAS-INC” Agency has revealed a poll on vote intentions in Chisinau municipality. The poll is representative for the adult population of Chisinau and has a maximal error of ±2.9%. According to the poll, vote intentions for the future Chisinau mayor, of those 58% persons that said definitively will participate in elections of June 3, would distribute, as follows:

OSCE/ODIHR has made public the second interim report on 3 June local elections monitoring. According to the report, “the preparations for the elections continue to be carried out by the election administration in an overall orderly manner. While the political parties are generally satisfied with the work of Level 2 District Electoral Councils (DECs), Level 1 DECs are widely perceived to be amenable to influence from the governing party”. Vladimir Filat, Democratic Party of Moldova candidate to the Chisinau Mayor office, has asked Central Electoral Commission (CEC) and General Prosecutor Office to investigate the slander campaign in his address. He has told the audience at a press conference that some media institutions are broadcasting clips that ask people to fight against corruption, without being mentioned particular names, and that later in Chisinau started to be distributed flayers that present the DPM candidate as a corrupt person. Filat see this campaign as being organized by PCRM.
