• Several new decisions of Gagauz CEC have been adopted. They refer to:
  • Establishing of the territorial electoral districts (3 districts).
  • Approval of the composition of the electoral districts commissions.
  • Confirmation of the candidates’ member-representatives entitled to consultative vote in Gagauz CEC.
  • Registration of the trustees of electoral contestants.

• Mihail Formuzal, independent candidate for the Governor post of Gagauzia has decided to self-resign out of his post as mayor of Ceadir-Lunga for the period of the election campaign. Formuzal has ground his decision on the will to avoid eventual accusations of misusing the administrative resources.
