• With the aim to coordinate common actions for the preparation and organization of elections, Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Gagauzia has held a meeting with the representatives of district electoral commissions (Comrat, Ceadir-Lunga, Vulcanesti). Participants have approached the following issues: creation in due time of the polling stations; preparation of the voters’ lists; complying with voting procedure rules; respect for the identity acts necessary for voting; and participation of students to the elections. CEC of Gagauzia intends to organize in the rayons special trainings on voter education.

• Gagauz CEC has adopted several decisions on:
  • Approval of the concept on election campaign coverage by the “Vesti Gagauzii” (“News of Gagauzia”) regional newspaper;
  • Approval of the voting procedure poster;
  • Approval of the electoral symbol of the candidate Nicolai Dudoglo.
