• On 14 November, Central Electoral Commission of Gagauzia has adopted several decisions on elections’ organization:
  • approval of the ballot paper form, that will include given, middle and family names of the candidates;
  • approval of the observers permits’ form;
  • increasing the number of candidates’ representatives (trustees of electoral contestants).

  Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova has accredited representatives of Eurasia Foundation as international observers in order to monitor elections of the Governor of ATU Gagauzia, on 3 December 2006 (CEC Decision no.352/2006).

• District electoral commissions have approved the nominal composition of the polling stations electoral bureaus. The lists of voters, who have the right to participate in elections of the Governor of Gagauzia, have been prepared and verified by local authorities. According to the lists, 83 134 persons are expected to vote at the polling stations in Gagauzia. The lists can be consulted by voters, so that to eliminate possible errors.
