• On March 10, 2008, took place the CEC sitting during which a series of problems were debated, among them:
  • the candidatures withdrawal requests of 3 contestants registered in Avdarma, Gaidar and Vulcanesti constituencies. Thus, in the elections of March 10 will participate 156 candidates;
  • the accreditation of two mass-media institutions: “Ukraine’s Meridian” and Transdniestrian “Television of the Free Choice”;
  • adoption of the contents of voting papers for the all 35 constituencies;
  • adoption of instructions concerning the voting procedures in order to facilitate the work of polling station workers on the election day;
  • examination of the complains of 3 candidates. In one case, CEC advised the contestant to appeal to the Court in order to solve the problem.
