Was born on the 7th of November 1959 in Beshgioz, Ciadir-Lunga district. He served in the army and had the major military rank. In 1998 Mr. Formuzal graduated from the Public Administration Academy under the auspices of the Government of the Republic Moldova. In 1995 Mr. Formuzal became the deputy mayor of Ciadir-Lunga, in 1999 and 2003 he was elected as mayor of Ciadir-Lunga. In May 2005, Mr. Formuzal joined the Republican Popular Party (RPP) and became the chair of the Republican Council of the party. He is the head of “United Gagauzia” regional Movement. Married, three children.
